Do you eat out for lunch daily?Unlike most, I pack a lunch each and everyday. Sometimes it contains leftovers, some times just a sandwich, chips, and a little debbie. you may ask why do you pack your lunch? Its only a few dollars everyday. |
So how much do you spend each day on lunch?
Step back and figure out on average how much you spend a day then multiply it times 5 then again by 52. That will give you a ballpark figure of how much you spend per year, just on lunch.
Shocking how much of your paycheck you eat?
The numbers may shock you. some people actually spend $2000-$3000 per year just on lunch alone. Not to mention the coffee and breakfast in the morning, another $1000-2000 /year. Thats a total of $4000-$5000 you could be remodeling your house, paying off debt, taking a nice vacation the possibilities are endless,
What could you do with just your lunch money?
- Save for early retirement
- Get some new clothes
- Take your wife out for a really nice night on the town
- Replace outdated appliances
- Pay your insurance premiums
- Pay off outstanding credit debt
- ………
The possibilities are endless. So next time you see someone that packs there lunch, just think I could be like them and repurpose the money.
